Terry Strange
Founder and Principal
Terry is the founder and principal of Strange Resource Management. He provides oversight and direction to all company projects. Terry is one of the most diversely experienced professional biologists in the industry with multiple areas of resource expertise. His past professional experience with state and local government employment and as a college professor provides a unique perspective and outstanding reputation to project permitting and management, and outreach to staff, clients and regulatory agencies.

His extensive experience in lake and pond development; fisheries, aquatic, and wildlife biology; protected species surveys; water quality management and protection; wildlife habitat planning, design, construction and maintenance, construction site compliance monitoring and staff education in protected areas, land development impact avoidance and protection measures; and impact mitigation planning and development is unparalleled in the industry. He holds recovery permits for all listed California aquatic and most terrestrial species, providing diversified abilities to conduct protocol level surveys for clients.

Terry’s diverse professional experience and team background allow for complete turnkey service and environmental oversight to each project. Terry maintains a reasonable and balanced approach to project planning, development and mitigation activities focused on solution oriented processes. He has hand selected staff and company associates that share his passion for biology and aquatic resource development and conservation while providing attention to detail, creative and proactive solutions, and to client relationships.
